| Whiterock Partners was founded in May 2003 by
Scott Uhrig. Previously, Scott was a Partner with
Connet & Company (a high-end boutique executive
search firm based in Silicon Valley) and a Principal
with TMP Worldwide (the 3rd largest retained executive
search firm in the U.S. at the time of his employment).
Scott’s technology and business experience
includes stints at Honeywell (as a software developer
in the Advanced Systems Group), at GTE (in product
development and technology commercialization), and
at McKinsey & Company (as a consultant to high-tech
companies). Scott has a BS and MS in Computer Science
from the University of South Florida and an MBA
from the University of Texas. In addition, he was
a full-time Computer Science Instructor at the University
of South Florida, during which time he completed
his PhD coursework.
